Description

The Colette is an 80cm circular pendant light with a brushed rose gold metal frame and six integrated opal silicone diffusers that surround the ring. The integrated 65W LED runs at 3000K warm white and is dimmable via 0-10V controls, allowing the light level to be adjusted from full brightness down to a low ambient glow. The suspension wires are adjustable between 60cm and 140cm drop, fitting rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m up to 3.2m or more.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centrepieces, the Colette provides both task and ambient lighting depending on dimmer setting. The circular form sits well above rectangular dining tables or kitchen worktops, with the 80cm diameter covering a 1.8-2.4m table length without overwhelming the space. The rose gold finish pairs with warm-toned interiors, brass hardware, terracotta, blush pinks and natural woods, while the opal diffusers soften the LED source and prevent glare from below.

The metal frame is finished in a brushed rose gold that sits between polished copper and antique brass in tone, with a low-sheen surface that minimises reflections under daylight. The silicone diffusers flex slightly, making them more resistant to impact than glass or acrylic alternatives. At 2.4kg the fitting is light enough to hang from standard ceiling roses but substantial enough to feel well-built once installed. The Class 1 electrical rating requires an earth connection during installation.

Is the Colette dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable via 0-10V dimmer controls. This is a commercial/architectural dimming protocol, not standard phase-cut dimmers used in most homes. If you need dimming in a residential setting, check that your electrician can install a compatible 0-10V dimmer system.

What ceiling height does it need?

The suspension wires adjust between 60cm and 140cm drop. For a dining table the light typically sits 70-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. Higher ceilings can use the full 140cm drop for a more dramatic suspended effect.

What size table does the 80cm diameter suit?

The 80cm circular frame works well above rectangular tables between 1.8m and 2.4m long, or round tables up to 1.4m diameter. On longer tables (2.6m+) consider two Colette fittings spaced along the length, or pair with a second pendant at the other end.

Can the silicone diffusers be cleaned?

Yes. Wipe the opal silicone diffusers with a damp microfibre cloth. Silicone is more forgiving than glass and can tolerate gentle cleaning without scratching. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
