This brown tapered square lamp shade measures 33cm wide by 23cm high, constructed from woven fabric stretched over a rigid internal frame. The shade tapers from a 33cm square base to a narrower 20cm top aperture, giving it a structured geometric profile that suits both traditional and contemporary table lamps. The fabric interior is lined white to reflect and diffuse light evenly.

Designed to pair with the Deco Wood Table Lamp – Silver (sold separately), the shade fits standard table lamp fittings with a duplex ring or spider mounting. The earthy brown tone works as a neutral across warm-toned interiors, pairing with walnut, oak and brass finishes without introducing visual competition. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor rooms — bedrooms, living rooms, studies and hallways.

The woven fabric texture reduces glare when the lamp is lit, while the white interior lining ensures more light escapes through the fabric than would with an unlined shade. At 0.5kg the shade is light enough to fit most table lamp bases without tipping risk. The stitched edges and rigid frame maintain the square shape over time, avoiding the sagging that lighter shades can develop.

The shade fits standard table lamp fittings using either a duplex ring or spider mounting system. It's specifically designed to pair with the Deco Wood Table Lamp – Silver from Schuller, but will fit any table lamp with a compatible fitting and proportional base.

Can the fabric be cleaned?

The woven fabric can be dusted with a soft dry brush or microfibre cloth. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the fabric or using household cleaners which may stain or weaken the weave.

What bulb wattage is recommended?

The shade suits LED bulbs between 6-15W or incandescent bulbs up to 40W. Higher wattages risk overheating the fabric. Check the base lamp's maximum wattage rating and use whichever is lower.

Does the shade come with a fitting kit?

The shade includes the internal frame and mounting ring but does not include a separate adapter or reducer. Ensure your table lamp base has a compatible fitting before purchasing.
