Description

This stoneware holder takes the form of a small fish and is made to hold either a tealight or a dinner candle. The head forms one end and the tail the other, with a fin raised on each flank of a rounded, striped body that rests on a short footed base. The pattern is multicoloured, with painted stripes running down the body and a textured scale effect worked into the head and tail. It is 13cm long, 8cm wide and 7cm tall and weighs 0.21KG, so it is a small piece that fits on a narrow shelf or among other holders without crowding them.

We see it on a side table, a sideboard, a mantelpiece or a bookshelf, anywhere a little colour and humour would be welcome. Because it stands only 7cm tall, it sits happily in front of taller candlesticks in a group without hiding them, and it adds a low point of light to the arrangement.
