Description

The Ciros is a 60cm round side table built from a faceted stainless steel cage base and an 8mm smoked glass top. The base is formed from vertical steel rods arranged in a tapered geometric pattern and finished in polished chrome, creating an open structure that reflects light from multiple angles. The smoked glass top sits flush on the upper rim of the cage, giving a dark translucent surface that contrasts with the high-shine steel beneath.

Designed for contemporary living rooms, bedroom corners and lounge seating areas, the Ciros works as a side table next to an armchair or sofa, or as an end table in a hallway or entrance. The 55cm height positions the top at typical armrest level, making it suitable for holding a table lamp, drinks or books without needing to reach down. The open cage base allows light to pass through from below, so the table does not create a visual barrier in smaller rooms.

The polished stainless steel finish pairs with chrome-finished lighting fixtures, mirrored furniture and high-gloss surfaces in contemporary and art deco-inspired interiors. The smoked glass top shows fingerprints less readily than clear glass and provides a darker surface that sits comfortably against black, charcoal and deep-toned upholstery. At 7.68kg the table has enough weight to remain stable on carpets and rugs without being difficult to move when rearranging furniture.

What is the glass thickness?

The smoked glass top is 8mm thick. It sits on the upper rim of the steel cage base without additional fixings, held in place by its own weight and the rim edge.

Is the steel prone to fingerprints?

Yes. Polished stainless steel shows fingerprints and smudges readily. Wipe with a microfibre cloth and a specialist stainless steel cleaner to maintain the high-gloss finish. Avoid abrasive cloths that can scratch the surface.

Can the table support a table lamp?

Yes. The 8mm glass top can support the weight of a typical table lamp. Distribute the weight evenly across the glass surface and avoid placing heavy objects on the outer edge where leverage is greatest.

Is assembly required?

The table arrives fully assembled. The glass top may be shipped separately for protection and simply lifts onto the steel base.
