Description

The Ciros is a 50cm round side table built from a polished stainless steel cage frame with two 5mm tempered glass shelves, one at table height (55cm) and one at floor level. The vertical steel rods curve outward from the base, forming an open barrel shape that supports the top glass disc without obscuring sightlines through the table.

Designed for living rooms, bedroom corners and hotel lounges where spatial openness matters, the Ciros keeps the floor area visually clear while providing two usable surfaces. The upper shelf holds a table lamp, books or decorative objects up to 55cm height, while the lower glass shelf stabilises the frame and provides additional surface area for magazines or remote controls. The 5.7kg weight gives stability without needing floor fixings.

The polished stainless steel finish reflects ambient light and pairs with chrome, brushed nickel and glass furniture in contemporary and mid-century modern interiors. The dual glass shelves are load-bearing tempered glass rated for normal household use. Does the Ciros require assembly?

Yes. The steel frame arrives flat-packed and the glass shelves are separate. The assembly instruction PDF (linked above) guides fitting the vertical rods into the top and base rings, then positioning the two glass discs. Basic hand tools are needed and assembly typically takes 15-20 minutes.

What weight can the glass shelves support?

Both shelves are 5mm tempered glass rated for normal household use. The upper shelf comfortably supports a table lamp, books and decorative objects. Avoid concentrated loads exceeding 10kg on a single shelf or placing heavy objects off-centre.

How is the glass cleaned?

Wipe both glass surfaces with a damp microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner. The polished steel frame can be wiped with a soft cloth and a small amount of stainless steel cleaner to maintain the reflective finish and remove fingerprints.

What floor space does the table occupy?

The frame footprint is 50cm diameter at the widest point of the curved steel rods. The lower glass shelf sits just above floor level, so the table occupies approximately a 50cm circular floor area.
