Description

This is a tall stoneware storage jar with a matching lid, painted by hand in wide vertical beige stripes that carry on up and over the top. The lid rises to a point and finishes in a small round knob, which gives the whole jar the look of a striped tent. It stands 25cm tall and 15.5cm across, a generous size that holds its own on a worktop or an open shelf, and at 1.7KG it has the reassuring weight of solid stoneware.

It is approved for contact with food, so it earns a place in the kitchen as a jar for biscuits, sugar, rice, pasta or tea bags, kept close at hand on the counter.
