Description

This is a stoneware storage jar with a lid shaped like the top of a circus tent. It is finished with broad vertical green stripes painted by hand and crowned with a round knob to lift it by. The stripes carry on from the jar up over the lid to its point, so with the lid on it reads as one striped tent. It stands 25cm tall and 15.5cm across, holds 1150ml and weighs 1.66KG, so it sits solidly on a worktop or shelf.
