Description

The Ciclos is a 60cm circular LED pendant light built around a segmented gold metal ring frame with an opal silicone diffuser strip running along its inner edge. The integrated 52W LED casts 3000K warm white light through the silicone, creating an even ambient glow across the ring without visible hotspots or shadows. The light is dimmable via 0-10V control systems, allowing output to be reduced from full brightness down to a low background level.

Designed for dining rooms, open-plan kitchen-living spaces and entrance halls with ceiling heights between 2.6m and 3.2m, the Ciclos functions as both primary and feature lighting. The adjustable cable suspension allows the drop to be set between 60cm and 120cm from the ceiling during installation, positioning the ring approximately 700-900mm above a dining table or 1400-1600mm above floor level in an entrance zone. The gravity toggle system inside the ceiling canopy balances the weight of the ring and keeps the cables taut without visible hardware protruding below the canopy.

The gold finish on the metal frame is a satin-toned coating rather than polished brass, giving a warm metallic accent without high gloss reflections. The segmented ring structure shows deliberate gaps in the frame rather than presenting as a continuous circle, creating visual rhythm when viewed from below. At 2.1kg total weight including the LED driver, the pendant requires a standard UK ceiling rose rated for 5kg or higher.

The opal silicone diffuser is a flexible polymer rather than glass, making it more resistant to thermal stress and impact than traditional opal glass diffusers. The 3000K colour temperature and CRI >80 render warm wood tones, brass accents and neutral paint colours accurately without the greenish cast of lower-CRI LEDs. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor areas only.
