Description

This is a three-piece stoneware dinner set made for a child's place at the table: a plate, a bowl and a cup, each in cream and decorated with a little dachshund and scattered dots. On the plate the dog's long striped body curls round the plate in a ring, so his head and back legs nearly meet. The shallow bowl is dotted inside, with the dachshund running round the outside, and the cup carries the dog too, with a round loop handle. The plate is 20.5cm across and 2.5cm tall, a good size for a child's dinner; the bowl is 14cm across and 4cm tall, and the cup is 7cm across and 6cm tall, a small cup for milk or water.
