Description

The Cellar is an 8-light linear pendant built around a 1155mm black metal bar from which eight opal white glass globes extend at evenly spaced intervals. Each globe takes a G4 LED bulb, sold separately, casting 4000K cool white light through the opal glass. The rectangular black canopy measures 390mm wide and supports two cables that suspend the bar, with the drop adjustable between 300mm minimum and 1600mm maximum on installation.

Designed for positioning over kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars between 1.5m and 2m in length, the Cellar provides both task and ambient light without needing multiple ceiling fittings. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm and daylight tones, offering clarity for food preparation and general task work while remaining comfortable for dining. The bar typically hangs 700-850mm above the worktop or table surface, depending on ceiling height and user preference.

The black metal frame contrasts sharply with the opal glass, creating a monochrome profile that pairs with contemporary kitchens, modern dining spaces and minimalist interiors. What size island or table does this suit?

The 1155mm bar length works best over kitchen islands or dining tables between 1.5m and 2m long. For shorter or longer surfaces, consider a different model or multiple fittings to maintain proportion.

Is the Cellar dimmable?

No. The G4 LEDs included are not dimmable, and the fitting is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to dim non-dimmable LEDs can damage both the bulbs and the dimmer circuit.

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting uses standard G4 base LEDs, which can be replaced if one fails. Replacement G4 LEDs in 4000K or alternative colour temperatures are available separately.

How is the drop height adjusted?

The suspension cables are adjustable during installation. The electrician sets the drop between 300mm minimum and 1600mm maximum before fixing the canopy to the ceiling. Once installed, the drop is not easily altered without re-accessing the ceiling fixing.
