Cellar 10cm LED Pendant Light 5W 3000K - Black

The Cellar is a 10cm opal glass globe pendant light with an integrated 5W 3000K LED, suspended on a matt black cable from a circular black ceiling rose. The opal glass diffuses the LED evenly across the entire sphere, producing soft ambient light rather than a directional beam. The black suspension cable is adjustable from 300mm to 1700mm during installation.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables, hallways and over bedside tables, the Cellar works as a single pendant or in linear groups of two to five along a 2-4m run. The 10cm diameter keeps the visual weight compact enough for low ceilings or narrow corridors, while the opal diffusion spreads light in all directions without glare. At 5W output the Cellar provides accent and task lighting rather than primary room illumination.

The matt black finish on the cable, canopy and internal lamp holder contrasts with the white opal glass to define the sphere's edge when lit and unlit. The glass globe weighs 270g with the fitting hardware, making it suitable for standard plasterboard ceilings without additional support.

The generous drop range from 300mm to 1700mm makes it easy to set a single pendant at the right height over a bedside table or to run several at a consistent level along a longer worktop. Because the light spreads in every direction through the opal glass, positioning is forgiving, and the low 270g weight means no reinforced mounting point is required for typical residential ceilings.

Is the Cellar dimmable?

No. The integrated 5W LED module is non-dimmable. If you need dimmable pendant lighting, consider other models in the range with dimmer-compatible drivers.

How many pendants are needed over a kitchen island?

This depends on the island length and the role of the lighting. For a 1.5-2m island, two Cellar pendants spaced 600-800mm apart provide accent lighting. For a 2.5-3m island, three pendants work well. The 5W output per pendant means you will likely need additional ceiling downlights or spotlights for primary task lighting.

What is the drop height adjustable to?

The cable adjusts from 300mm minimum to 1700mm maximum during installation. For a dining table or kitchen island the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Can the glass globe be cleaned?

Yes. The opal glass can be wiped with a soft, dry microfibre cloth when the power is isolated. For fingerprints or smudges, a slightly damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household glass cleaners or sprays containing ammonia, as these can degrade the internal LED module if moisture enters through the lamp holder.
