The Celestia is a 91 x 61cm rectangular wall mirror set within a champagne gold frame with fine beaded detailing running along the inner and outer edges. The frame is constructed from wood finished in a muted metallic champagne tone that sits between brushed brass and antique gold, and the bevelled mirror glass creates a stepped border that reflects light at different angles depending on the viewing position.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms, the Celestia can be mounted in either landscape or portrait orientation depending on the wall space and the furniture arrangement below. In landscape the mirror suits console tables and mantelpieces, while portrait mounting works above sideboards or in narrow hallway spaces. The 4cm frame depth gives the mirror a substantial wall presence without requiring deep wall clearance.

The champagne gold finish provides a warmer alternative to polished chrome or silver-toned mirrors, pairing comfortably with warm-toned woods, brass fixtures, cream and taupe interiors. What wall fixings are needed?

At 10kg the mirror requires secure wall fixings into solid masonry or wall studs. Use heavy-duty mirror plates or D-rings with appropriate screws and wall plugs rated for at least 15kg to provide a safety margin. Do not hang from plasterboard alone without locating studs or using specialist plasterboard anchors rated for the weight.

Is the mirror bevelled?

Yes. The glass has a bevelled edge that creates a stepped border around the mirror surface, which catches and reflects light at different angles depending on the room lighting and viewing position.

How is the champagne gold finish maintained?

Wipe the frame with a dry or barely-damp soft cloth to remove dust. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the frame as overspray can dull the metallic finish over time. Clean the mirror glass separately with a standard glass cleaner applied to the cloth rather than the mirror surface.
