Description

The Celeste Medium is a 610mm diameter pendant light built from a white matt-finish aluminium dome with an internal polycarbonate diffuser that follows the curvature of the shell. Two integrated 30W 3000K LEDs sit behind the diffuser, delivering 2100 lumens through a 120° beam angle that fills the dome and casts an even wash of light downward and outward.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Celeste works as solo focal point lighting in smaller rooms or as part of a paired or clustered arrangement over larger surfaces. The drop is adjustable between 350mm and 1900mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set anywhere from 600mm above a worktop to 800mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height and desired effect. The aluminium shell weighs 3.2kg and mounts to a white ceiling rose that matches the dome finish.

The white matt aluminium finish reduces glare and reflection under daylight while the concave interior hides the light source from view when standing beneath the pendant. The polycarbonate diffuser softens the LED output into a uniform glow without visible hot spots or banding, and the 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light that sits between halogen warmth and cooler daylight tones. The pendant is not dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains without requiring a transformer.

Both LED modules share the 30W load evenly, and the fitting carries a 3 year warranty. The 610mm diameter suits larger tables and islands where a smaller dome would look under-scaled against the surface below, giving a lumen output of 2100lm across the space.

Is the Celeste dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated at 30W on 220-240V mains and does not support dimming. The 2100lm output is fixed and delivers consistent brightness when switched on.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1900mm maximum drop allows the pendant to be installed in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. For a dining table or kitchen island the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works comfortably in standard-height rooms. The minimum drop of 350mm suits lower ceilings or situations where the pendant needs to sit closer to the ceiling rose.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The pendant uses suspension cables that hang vertically under gravity. On a sloped ceiling the pendant will hang plumb, but the ceiling rose will sit at an angle. Check with an electrician before installing on slopes greater than 15°.

How is the aluminium shell cleaned?

Wipe the white matt finish with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishes or chemical sprays that can damage the matt surface or leave streaks.
