Description

The Cela is a duvet cover in the double size, 200cm by 200cm, made from hemp blended with organic cotton. The colour is a neutral natural tone and the design is simple, with nothing in it that has to be matched. It weighs 1.12kg.

Hemp and cotton together give a lightweight, breathable cover that reads the same through the year rather than belonging to one season of it. Because the tone is neutral and the design plain, it will sit on a bed with pillowcases and fitted sheets already in the house instead of asking for a whole new set, though the Cela range carries both if a matching one is wanted. The same duvet cover is made in king and super king as well as this double.

The cover is woven in Portugal. Hemp is a hard wearing fibre that grows on very little water and without chemicals, and the cotton it is blended with is grown without synthetic pesticides or genetically modified seed. A duvet, pillowcases and a fitted sheet are not included.

Frequently Asked

What size is it?

The double, 200cm by 200cm. The same cover is also made in king and super king.

What is it made from?

A blend of hemp and organic cotton, woven in Portugal.

Does it come with pillowcases?

No. The duvet cover is sold on its own. Pillowcases and fitted sheets are made in the same range and sold separately.

How should it be washed?

The temperature printed on the care label is the highest the fabric will take, and a lower one will do just as well. Line drying gives the best result, or tumble dry on a low setting and take it out promptly.

Will it soften?

Yes. The fabric softens a little with each wash, and a gentle fabric softener can be used now and then if you want to hurry it along.
