Description

This cedar Christmas decoration is a hanging spray of green needled sprigs, gathered at the top under a wrapped hanging loop and tapering to a single frosted twig at the tip. Cones are tucked in among the needles, the largest near the top and smaller ones towards the tip, with little clusters of berries scattered through and a frosting along the needle tips. It is made of polyethylene and iron, and it measures 46cm long, 23cm wide and 8cm tall. Polyethylene does not dry out the way cut greenery does, which makes this a piece to pack away in January and bring back out the following Christmas.

A door is where it looks most at home. The loop slips over a hook or a nail, and the shallow 8cm profile keeps it close to the door rather than jutting out. It is just as good laid along a shelf or a deep windowsill among wrapped presents, or across a sideboard as part of your Christmas decorating. Because it is long and narrow rather than round, it suits places where a wreath can feel crowded: the upper panel of a narrow door, the gap between two windows, the end of a bookcase or the side of a mirror.

It arrives as one finished piece with the cones, berries and frosting already in place, so there is nothing to put together before it goes up. Its materials are polyethylene and iron, and at 0.12KG it is light enough to hang from a small hook or a slim over-door hanger. For styling, let it hang on its own against a painted door, where the green and the frosting carry it, or tie a length of ribbon around the loop in a shade that picks up the cones for something more festive.

Frequently Asked

Is it real greenery or artificial?

It is artificial. The maker lists polyethylene and iron as its materials, so it will not dry out the way a cut spray of greenery does.

How big is the cedar decoration?

It is 46cm long, 23cm wide and 8cm tall, a long, narrow spray that suits a door panel, a shelf or a sideboard.

How do I hang it?

It has a wrapped loop at the top that slips over a hook, a nail or an over-door hanger. At 0.12KG it is light enough for a small hook.

What is included?

You receive one hanging cedar decoration with its loop. The styling props shown are not included, and no hook or hanger comes with it.

Does it have to hang on a door?

Not at all. It looks just as good laid flat along a shelf, a deep windowsill or a sideboard among wrapped presents and other Christmas decorations.
