Description
A three wick scented candle in a hand blown recycled glass vessel, 13cm tall and 13cm across, holding 950g of wax. The glass is finished in aged smoke: a translucent smoky grey at the rim, fading down through an opaque chalky band into a mottled cream base flecked with rust and gold. The rim is left uneven by the blowing, so it rises and dips slightly around the top. The wax is a soy and beeswax blend, poured level, with three cotton wicks spaced across it.
At 13cm in every direction this is a wide, squat candle that sits low, and three wicks across that width light the whole surface rather than one point of it. That suits a coffee table, a hearth or a broad windowsill, where the candle is seen from above as much as from the side. The vessel is meant to be kept and used again once the wax has gone.
The wax is a blend of sustainably sourced European soy and natural beeswax, finished with a pure cotton wick, and it is hand poured and packed in the UK. The fragrance is blended exclusively for this range and runs on sandalwood, cedarwood and warming amber, over natural essential oils including cardamom, cumin, palmarosa, patchouli, carrot and nutmeg. The vessel is hand blown from recycled glass by makers in India, so the wall thickness, the line of the rim and the spread of the speckling differ from one to the next. The same scent is made as a single wick candle.

Frequently Asked
How long will it burn?
Approximately 75 to 80 hours.
How many wicks does it have?
Three.
What does it smell of?
Sandalwood, cedarwood and warming amber, over natural essential oils including cardamom, cumin, palmarosa, patchouli, carrot and nutmeg.
How should it be burned?
Let the wax melt right out to the sides of the vessel the first time it is lit. Trim the wicks to 5mm before each burn, keep it in a ventilated room away from draughts, and burn it for at least two hours but no more than four at a time. Stand it on a stable, heat protected surface away from children, pets and anything flammable, never move it while it is lit or leave it unattended, and stop burning when about 10mm is left.
Can the glass be used again?
Yes. Put the vessel in a freezer for six to twelve hours, until the wax shrinks away from the glass and can be knocked out gently, then wipe it with a clean, damp cloth. Do not leave it to soak or scrub it, and keep an abrasive cloth and harsh detergents away from it.
