Description
A scented candle in a hand blown glass vessel 9cm tall and 9cm across, with a single cotton wick. The glass runs smoky grey and translucent over the upper two thirds and turns opaque towards the foot, where a mottled cream ground is flecked with gold and rust. The wax is poured almost level with the rim and reads plain white against the glass.
At 270g and 9cm across this is a candle for a table or a shelf. The scent runs on sandalwood, cedarwood and amber, warm rather than sharp, and it carries natural essential oils of cumin, palmarosa, patchouli, cardamom, carrot and nutmeg. It burns for approximately 45 to 50 hours.
The wax is a blend of sustainably sourced European soy and natural beeswax, hand poured and packed in the UK by a family run business, and the wick is pure cotton. The vessel is hand blown from recycled glass by makers in India and is meant to be kept and used again once the candle has burned through. The fragrance was developed exclusively for this range.

Frequently Asked
How long does it burn?
Approximately 45 to 50 hours.
What does it smell of?
Sandalwood, cedarwood and amber, carrying natural essential oils of cumin, palmarosa, patchouli, cardamom, carrot and nutmeg.
How many wicks does it have?
One.
Can the glass be used again?
Yes, it is meant to be. Put the vessel in the freezer for six to twelve hours, until the wax has shrunk away from the glass and can be knocked out gently, then wipe it out with a damp cloth. Do not leave it to soak, do not scrub it, and keep abrasives and harsh detergents away from it.
How should I burn it?
The first time, let the wax melt right out to the sides. Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn. Burn it for at least two hours but no more than four at a time, in a ventilated room away from draughts, on a stable heat protected surface, and stop when about 10mm of candle is left. Do not move it while it is lit, keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable, and never leave it unattended.
