Description

The Capuccina is a 1100mm linear chandelier with six integrated LED heads set on adjustable matt black metal arms radiating from a central ceiling canopy. Each LED sits inside a folded triangular shade cut and bent from flat sheet metal, creating an irregular cone profile that directs 3000K warm light downward at a 60° beam angle while the matt black exterior absorbs rather than reflects ambient light.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and large hallway installations, the Capuccina suits ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m with an adjustable drop range of 435mm to 720mm. The six arms extend at different lengths and angles from the central column, giving an asymmetric, mobile-like configuration rather than rigid symmetry. At 1100mm overall length and 180mm width, the fixture spans a typical 2.4-2.8m island or dining surface without overwhelming smaller rooms.

The 45W integrated LED array delivers 3100 lumens total output across all six heads, equivalent to approximately 515 lumens per head. This provides functional task lighting over worktops or dining surfaces rather than pure ambient wash. The matt black powder-coat finish on both the framework and the folded shades reduces reflections and gives the fitting a graphite-like matte texture that pairs with contemporary, industrial and monochrome interiors. The metal shades act as both reflectors and heat sinks, channelling warmth away from the LED modules.

The Capuccina is supplied by Mantra, a Spanish lighting manufacturer operating since 2003. The fixture arrives pre-wired with the LED modules integrated into the assembly, requiring only ceiling rose connection and adjustment of the suspension cables during installation. At 4.4kg the chandelier needs secure fixing to a joist or ceiling-mounted support capable of holding at least 10kg safety margin.

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The fixture operates at full 3100lm output when switched on.

What length island or dining table does it suit?

The 1100mm length works over islands or tables between 2.4m and 2.8m long. For shorter tables the asymmetric arm configuration may overhang the ends; for longer tables a second fixture or a different model may be needed to provide even coverage.

Can the arms be repositioned after installation?

The arms are fixed during manufacture in their asymmetric configuration. They cannot be repositioned or rotated once the fixture is assembled. The only adjustment available is the overall suspension drop height via the ceiling cables.

What ceiling fixing is required?

At 4.4kg the Capuccina must be fixed to a joist or a ceiling support rated for at least 10kg. Standard plasterboard fixings are not adequate. If the ceiling rose position does not align with a joist, a ceiling spreader plate or batten should be installed before fitting the chandelier.
