Description

The Candy is a 47cm diameter side table built around a white pleated leatherette cylinder set on a brushed brass plinth, topped with a white marble-effect sintered stone surface. The vertical pleats wrap the full circumference of the body, creating a textured rhythm that contrasts with the smooth marble-effect top and flat brass base. The pleated cylinder is hollow, concealing internal support structure.

Designed as a side table for sofas, armchairs and bedside positions, the 45cm height sits below typical sofa arm height but works well for a table lamp base or drinks surface next to a low-backed lounge chair. The 47cm diameter footprint fits compact floor plans without overhanging furniture edges. The white leatherette pleats and marble-effect top keep the visual weight light despite the 9.8kg actual weight, which gives stability without needing additional fixing.

The marble-effect top is sintered stone rather than natural marble, offering consistent patterning, higher resistance to staining and heat, and lighter weight than a solid marble slab. Does it require assembly?

Yes. The table ships in components and requires assembly on site. An assembly instruction PDF is available in the Downloads tab showing how the pleated body attaches to the brass base and how the top is secured.

Is the top real marble?

No. The top is white marble-effect sintered stone, which mimics natural marble patterning but offers more consistent appearance, higher stain resistance and lighter weight than solid marble.

Can the pleated leatherette be cleaned?

The white leatherette pleats can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and mild soap solution for most surface marks. Avoid soaking the material and do not use solvent-based cleaners or abrasive pads.

What weight can the top support?

The sintered stone top and internal structure support typical side table loads such as table lamps, books, drinks and decorative objects. The specification sheet does not list a maximum load rating, but the 9.8kg table weight suggests adequate stability for standard residential use.
