Description

We stock the Calipso in white as a compact, adjustable spotlight for single-circuit track. It takes one GU10 bulb up to 10W (sold separately) in a ridged white aluminium housing, and the head pivots on its track adaptor so you can direct the light once it is installed.

We reach for it over kitchen worktops, on gallery and feature walls, and across retail displays, anywhere you want to pick out a surface or object. It clips onto a standard single-circuit track rail, rotates on the adaptor and tilts at the head, so you can fit several along one run and aim each one where the light is needed.

The housing is aluminium in a matt white finish, with vertical ridges along the body that give you grip when you adjust the angle. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and runs on a standard 220 to 240V 50Hz supply. The 10W GU10 bulb is not dimmable, and both the bulb and the track rail are sold separately.

No. The Calipso takes one GU10 bulb up to 10W, which you buy separately, so you can pick the brightness and colour temperature that suit the room.

Will it fit my track?

It clips onto standard single-circuit track using its adaptor plate, then rotates along the rail and tilts at the head. The track rail is sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

No. This is a 10W GU10 fitting and is not dimmable. If you want dimming, wire it to a switch rather than a dimmer.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

We would keep it to dry indoor rooms. It is rated IP20, so it is not protected against moisture and is not suitable for bathroom zones.
