Description

We stock the Calipso in brass as a 30W integrated LED spotlight for single-circuit track. The aluminium body carries a warm brass finish and gives 2715 lumens of 3000K warm white through a focused 36 degree beam, with a high 90 CRI so colours stay true under the light. The head sits on a track adaptor, so once it is installed you can angle it to point the beam where you want it.

This is an accent light, so we think of it wherever you want to pick out one thing rather than wash a whole room. The tight 36 degree beam and 90 CRI suit artwork, a gallery wall, a run of shelving or a kitchen worktop, and the brass finish sits well alongside warm-toned interiors and other brass or mixed-metal fittings. It runs on standard single-circuit track, so you can add several heads along one rail and aim each one independently.

The Calipso runs on 220 to 240V 50Hz mains and carries an IP20 rating, which means dry indoor rooms only and not an exposed outdoor spot. The LED module is built in and rated at 30W, so there is no separate bulb to buy or replace. It is not dimmable, and its energy class is G.

Frequently Asked

What track does it fit?

It mounts on standard single-circuit track via its track adaptor, so you can run several heads along one rail and point each one where you need it. The track and any power feed are sold separately.

Is it dimmable?

No. The Calipso is not dimmable, so it runs at its full 2715 lumen output. If you want to vary the level in a space, we would pair it with other dimmable fittings on a separate circuit.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The LED is integrated and rated at 30W giving 2715 lumens of 3000K warm white, so there is no separate bulb to fit or replace. It also has a high 90 CRI for accurate colour on whatever it lights.
