Description

The Butan is a matt white outdoor LED wall light with a curved profile that directs light both upwards and downwards from two integrated 6W LED modules, delivering a combined 1000lm output at 3000K. The fitting sits 230mm wide by 71mm tall and projects 105mm from the wall, creating a dual-beam wash effect across vertical surfaces rather than a flood of direct illumination.

Designed for modern residential exteriors, the Butan suits pathways flanking front doors, either side of garage entrances, terrace walls, and the sides of porches where ambient marker lighting is needed without glare. The IP65 rating means the fitting is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed positions including coastal areas. The matt white powder-coated aluminium body resists UV degradation and can be installed on white, cream or light-grey render without creating visual weight on the facade.

The dual-beam configuration places one LED facing upward and one downward, creating a column of light on the wall behind the fitting rather than casting light forward into walkways or seating areas. This makes the Butan more decorative and architectural than task-oriented, marking positions along a path or defining corners on a building without contributing to light pollution. At 0.5kg the fitting can be wall-mounted on standard masonry fixings and the 12W power consumption is low enough to run on typical outdoor lighting circuits alongside multiple fittings without overloading a single circuit breaker.
