Description

The Bucle is a 1175mm LED linear pendant light built around a continuous polished chrome tube bent into an infinity-loop form, with integrated 42W LEDs casting 3650 lumens of 3000K warm white light through a frosted acrylic diffuser running the length of the loop. The chrome frame forms two symmetrical teardrop shapes joined at the centre, creating a single uninterrupted light source that reads as both architectural and sculptural.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, long dining tables, and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Bucle provides task and ambient light across a 1175mm span. The adjustable drop runs from 300mm to 1500mm, allowing the fitting to be set 700-800mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The narrow 70mm depth means the loop sits close to the ceiling plane when viewed from the side, keeping the visual mass horizontal rather than vertical.

The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding colour and light, so the fitting takes on warm tones in rooms with timber, brass or warm whites, and cooler tones in spaces dominated by greys and blacks. The frosted acrylic diffuser hides the individual LED diodes inside the tube, presenting the light as a single continuous glow rather than a chain of points. At 1.69kg the fitting is light enough to install on standard ceiling roses without additional bracing, and the 100-240V driver is integrated into the canopy.

Is the Bucle dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The light output is fixed at 3650 lumens when powered on.

What length dining table or island does it suit?

The 1175mm width suits tables or islands between 1400mm and 2000mm long. For longer surfaces, two Bucle fittings can be installed in series, spaced 1200-1400mm apart.

How is the drop adjusted during installation?

The suspension cables are adjustable at the ceiling canopy before final fixing. Once the fitting is hung and the canopy is secured to the ceiling rose, the drop cannot be changed without removing the canopy and re-adjusting the cable lengths.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The rectangular canopy is designed for flat ceilings. Installation on a sloped ceiling would require a custom ceiling plate to provide a horizontal mounting surface, which is not supplied with the fitting.
