Description

We stock the Bubble as a compact accent head for 24V DC track, built around a spherical smoke glass shade held in a matt black aluminium housing. An integrated 3W LED sits inside the sphere and gives 40 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, so it runs straight off the track with no separate bulb to buy or fit. The smoke glass softens the output into a diffused glow while the sphere reads as a small focal point even when the light is off.

We think of the Bubble as accent and display lighting rather than a way to light a whole room. It suits gallery walls, retail displays, kitchen worktops and architectural features where you want directed light on a flexible rail. The head rotates 360 degrees and tilts on the track, so once it is installed you can aim it at artwork, shelving or a worktop zone and adjust it again later without any rewiring.

The 120 degree beam is wider than a narrow spotlight, which lets one head cover a larger wall section or a group of objects, and a CRI of 90 keeps colours looking true under the light. The matt black finish cuts reflections in daylight and pairs with contemporary and industrial track alike. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use, is not dimmable, and runs only on 24V DC magnetic track systems rather than mains track.

Frequently Asked

What track does the Bubble fit?

It is made for 24V DC magnetic track systems and runs at low voltage, so it will not fit a standard 240V mains track. You need a compatible 24V track and driver (sold separately) for it to work.

Does it take a separate bulb?

No. The 3W LED is built into the smoke glass sphere and gives 40 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, so there is nothing extra to buy and no bulb to replace over time.

Is it dimmable?

No, this head is not dimmable. It runs at a fixed warm 3000K output, so we would pair it with other fixed track heads rather than putting it on a dimmer circuit.

Can I adjust where the light points?

Yes. The head rotates a full 360 degrees and tilts on the track adaptor, so you can aim it at artwork, shelving or a worktop after fitting and reposition it whenever the display changes.
