Description

The BT20 chrome bezel is a 380mm polycarbonate accessory ring that fits over Knightsbridge BT20 series 20W LED bulkheads, adding a polished chrome finish to the outer edge of the fitting. The bezel clips onto the base of the bulkhead housing, replacing the standard white outer ring with a reflective chrome surface while leaving the central diffuser and LED module unchanged.

Designed for outdoor bulkheads mounted on walls, soffits and canopies where a metallic finish complements the surrounding fixtures (porch lights, gate hardware, door furniture), the chrome bezel suits both residential and commercial installations. The polycarbonate construction matches the impact resistance of the BT20 bulkhead itself, maintaining the same IP65 protection against dust and water ingress once fitted.

The 52mm projection of the bezel matches the depth of the standard BT20 housing, so fitting the chrome ring does not increase the overall protrusion from the wall. The polished chrome finish provides a high-gloss metallic appearance that reflects ambient light during the day and pairs well with stainless steel, polished aluminium and chrome door handles or window frames in contemporary or traditional settings.

No. The bezel is designed to clip over the existing housing without compromising the IP65 seal of the BT20 bulkhead. The polycarbonate material and fit maintain the same dust and water ingress protection as the standard white outer ring.

Yes. The chrome bezel can be retrofitted to existing BT20 bulkheads by removing the original white outer ring and clipping the chrome bezel into place. No additional fixings or tools are required beyond those used for the initial bulkhead installation.

The chrome finish is a plated polycarbonate surface rather than bare metal, which provides better resistance to salt air and moisture than traditional chrome-plated steel. However, regular cleaning with fresh water will help maintain appearance in coastal or high-exposure locations.
