Description
The BT14 silver eyelid accessory is a 320mm polycarbonate hood designed to reduce upward light spill from Knightsbridge BT14 14W LED bulkheads. The eyelid clips over the top half of the bulkhead lens, directing light downward and forward while blocking light from projecting onto ceilings or upper walls.
Designed for outdoor pathways, building entrances, stairwells and corridors where upward glare causes light pollution or distracts from signage and architectural features. The eyelid reduces visible glare for oncoming pedestrians and vehicle drivers while maintaining downward illumination on the ground plane. Installation is push-fit — the eyelid snaps onto the bulkhead bezel without tools or fixings, and can be removed if lighting requirements change.
The polycarbonate construction matches the impact resistance of the BT14 bulkhead body, providing the same durability in outdoor and high-traffic environments. The matt silver finish coordinates with the standard BT14 colour options (white, black, chrome) and weathers without oxidation or discolouration. The 69mm projection adds minimal depth to the bulkhead profile once fitted.
Compatible with all Knightsbridge BT14 14W CCT LED bulkheads including dimmable, emergency, sensor and corridor function variants. The eyelid does not interfere with the bulkhead's PIR sensor operation or diffuser venting.

Frequently Asked
Which bulkheads is this eyelid compatible with?
The BT14 silver eyelid fits all Knightsbridge BT14 14W LED bulkheads, including dimmable, emergency, sensor, and corridor function variants. It does not fit other bulkhead ranges or sizes.
How is the eyelid fitted?
The eyelid is push-fit. It snaps onto the top half of the bulkhead bezel without tools, screws or adhesive. It can be removed and refitted if lighting requirements change.
Does it affect sensor operation?
No. The eyelid does not block or interfere with the PIR sensor window on BT14 bulkheads fitted with motion detection. Sensor range and detection angle remain unchanged.
What is the eyelid made from?
Polycarbonate — the same material as the BT14 bulkhead body. It provides impact resistance, UV stability and weather resistance suitable for outdoor installation.
