Description

The BT14SLV is a silver polycarbonate bezel that clips onto Knightsbridge's 14W BT14 LED bulkhead range, converting the standard white finish to a matt silver appearance. The bezel is a 315mm diameter ring with a 45mm projection that sits over the existing bulkhead body, secured by internal clips without tools or screws.

Designed as a retrofit accessory, the bezel allows installers to match bulkhead finish to interior or exterior schemes after the original white bulkhead has been fitted. The polycarbonate construction matches the impact-resistance of the underlying bulkhead and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations where the base bulkhead carries an IP rating. The matt silver finish sits between brushed chrome and pure white, pairing comfortably with grey, black, and silver architectural detailing.

The bezel is compatible with all BT14 variants including dimmable, emergency, sensor-controlled and corridor function models. It does not interfere with the bulkhead's light output, colour temperature adjustment, or any sensor functionality. The 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the bezel itself but does not extend the warranty of the underlying bulkhead.

Which bulkheads is this bezel compatible with?

The bezel fits all Knightsbridge BT14 14W LED bulkheads including dimmable, emergency, sensor, corridor function and outdoor variants. It clips onto the standard white body supplied with each model. See the product links in the Description section for the full compatible range.

Does the bezel affect the bulkhead's IP rating?

The bezel does not alter the IP rating of the underlying bulkhead. If the base bulkhead is rated IP65 for outdoor use, the bezel maintains that rating when fitted correctly.

Can the bezel be fitted after installation?

Yes. The bezel clips onto the bulkhead body using internal clips and does not require tools, screws or re-wiring. It can be added or removed at any time after the bulkhead has been installed.

Does it interfere with the CCT adjustment or sensor function?

No. The bezel is purely cosmetic and does not cover or obstruct the CCT switch, dimming function, or any motion sensor on the bulkhead. All existing functionality remains accessible.
