Description

The Brooklyn Line is a linear LED pendant light: a slim, straight bar 102cm long, 3.5cm wide and 3.5cm tall, so it hangs as a fine line of light over a table. We sell it in white or black. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change; it draws 20W and gives 1142 lumens at 3000K, a warm white. With a CRI of 90, food, wood and fabrics keep their true colour beneath it, and the light comes from the underside, straight down onto the surface where you need it.

At 102cm long it is sized for a dining table, lighting the run of the table rather than a single spot in the middle, and in a living room it sits well above a long sideboard or a desk where you read and work. It hangs on fine suspension wires from a ceiling canopy measuring 21.4cm by 7.1cm, with a maximum drop of 200cm, which gives room to bring the light down to the right height in a taller room. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The body, in white or black, is a square section, the same 3.5cm each way, with fine ribbing running along its sides and a plain white panel underneath that the light passes through. It comes in two dimming versions: a non-dimmable version that simply switches on and off, and a DALI or push dimmable version for when you want the light lower for dinner and brighter for work. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Choose the finish to suit your ceiling and the dimming version to suit your controls before you order, as both are fixed by the version you buy. Our photographs show the white version.
