Description

The Brinley is a 120mm mini pendant light with a clear glass cylinder shade held by a brushed brass frame and handle-style bracket at the top. The glass resembles a traditional preserving jar in shape, with the single E27 bulb fitting visible inside the clear shade. A brushed brass canopy at the ceiling conceals the wiring, with 2600mm of cable allowing the pendant to be shortened during installation to suit the ceiling height.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, dining tables and entrance halls, the Brinley works as a single pendant over a small table or in multiples spaced along a kitchen island. The 120mm diameter and 213mm shade height give the pendant a compact presence that suits typical 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights when hung 700-800mm above a worktop or table. The clear glass shows the full silhouette of the bulb inside, so pairing with a decorative filament LED or vintage-style bulb adds to the traditional-meets-contemporary look.

The brushed brass finish on the frame, handle bracket and canopy has a warm tone that sits between polished brass and antique brass, providing a middle ground that pairs with both warm-toned wood interiors and cooler greys. The glass shade is open at the top under the handle bracket, which allows heat from the bulb to dissipate naturally and means the shade does not trap dust inside.

What bulb does the Brinley take?

The pendant takes one standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. The clear glass shade shows the full bulb silhouette, so many buyers pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb or vintage-style squirrel-cage bulb for added decorative effect.

Can the drop be adjusted?

Yes. The pendant ships with 2600mm of cable which can be shortened during installation to suit your ceiling height and the height of the surface below. Typical installations hang the pendant 700-800mm above a kitchen island or dining table.
