Description

The Brillix is an IP54-rated outdoor LED wall light with a white powder-coated metal body and a polycarbonate diffuser panel. An integrated 9W LED running at 3000K warm white is fixed inside the housing, casting downward and forward light through the angled diffuser face. The compact 100mm width and 164mm projection from the wall suit narrow entrance porches, garage sides, and pathway mounting where a low-profile fitting is needed.

Designed for outdoor residential use, the Brillix fits exterior walls next to front doors, on patio perimeters, along garden pathways, and beside garage doors where functional lighting is needed without a bulky fitting. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for UK weather exposure in sheltered and semi-sheltered positions. The downward light spread reduces glare when mounted at eye level and provides usable illumination for key entry, step navigation, and pathway guidance.

The white finish on the metal housing is a powder-coated layer that resists UV degradation and surface corrosion better than painted finishes. The polycarbonate diffuser is impact-resistant and does not yellow or crack under outdoor temperature cycling. The 9W integrated LED is non-dimmable and provides consistent output across the 5-year warranty period without requiring bulb replacement. The fitting mounts to standard outdoor back boxes and includes all necessary fixings for brick, render, and timber wall installation.

Can this be used in fully exposed positions?

The IP54 rating protects against dust and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for semi-sheltered positions such as under eaves, porches, and covered pathways. Fully exposed positions with direct driving rain may benefit from a higher IP65 or IP66 rating.

The Brillix mounts to standard outdoor back boxes on brick, render, timber cladding, and blockwork. All necessary fixings are included. The 164mm projection from the wall allows clearance for cable entry from behind.

3000K is warm white, similar to a traditional halogen bulb. It provides a softer, more inviting light than cooler daylight-temperature LEDs and suits residential outdoor settings where harsh white light is not desirable.
