Description

This is a modern wall light from our Brera range, made of iron and blown glass in a brushed warm steel finish. A long, rounded backplate in a pale beige tone stands upright against the wall, crossed low down by a curved panel in the brushed warm steel finish, and a single round blown-glass shade sits proud of it to one side in a ringed collar. It takes one GX53 lamp and runs on 220-240V mains. We sell it in three sizes, Mezzo, Quarto and Trequarti, so you can choose the scale that best suits your wall and the space around it.

Rated IP20, it is for dry rooms only, which makes it a natural fit for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms. A pair either side of a bed or a hallway mirror gives balanced light at eye level, and a single one brightens a narrow corridor wall without taking up any floor space. It is an on-off switched fitting, so it works from an ordinary wall switch rather than a dimmer. Its clean, modern lines sit easily in a contemporary home, and the warm tone of the brushed finish stops it feeling cold beside timber, linen or painted plaster.

The pairing of iron and blown glass gives each part its own job: the metal frames the composition and the glass carries the light.
