Description

The Brammoor linear pendant runs five gloss white glass globes along a slim satin brushed gold bar, spreading light across a length instead of dropping it from one point. The bar measures 900mm long by 300mm wide and hangs between 735mm and 1170mm, which puts it in the right band for a kitchen island or a long table. Lamping is five G9 LED capsules at 3W each, held inside the opal glass so you see an even glow rather than the lamps themselves. This one is not a dimmable fitting, so a standard switch is all the circuit needs.

A linear ceiling light earns its keep over anything long: an island, a run of worktop, a farmhouse table or a wide hall console. White glass diffuses the light evenly, which makes it practical for cooking, homework and paperwork as well as dinner, and five low wattage capsules give broad, comfortable light without a single harsh source. The gold bar stays warm against white, grey or deep green cabinetry, and the slim frame keeps the whole thing looking light from across the room. We would use it in open plan spaces where kitchen and dining share one ceiling.

The metalwork is finished in satin brushed gold and carries five gloss white glass globes, with the suspension height set during installation. The fitting is double insulated and rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. For care, switch off at the wall, let the capsules cool, then wipe the glass with a soft cloth and dust the bar with a dry microfibre cloth, avoiding sprays that can mark the finish.
