Description

The Brammoor ten light pendant spreads gloss white glass globes across a slim satin brushed gold frame that measures 1170mm in diameter, so it fills a wide ceiling without looking heavy. The overall height adjusts between 574mm and 1024mm, letting it sit low over a table or higher in a room with a tall ceiling. Ten G9 lampholders each take a 5W LED bulb, which gives a good working level of light spread right across the span. The fitting weighs 4.1kg and is rated IP20, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms.

At well over a metre across, this pendant light needs a room that can take it: a large dining table, a wide hallway, an open plan kitchen, or a stairwell where it can be seen from two levels. The slim frame is the point, since a fitting this size in solid metal would dominate, while the opal globes read as a scatter of soft light instead of a block. We would centre it over a table rather than a walkway, and leave clear height beneath so nobody meets the glass at eye level.

The frame, ceiling plate and lamp cups are metal in satin brushed gold, a warm tone with a fine brushed grain that stays calm in daylight and holds fingerprints far less than polished metal. The globes are gloss white glass; wipe them with a barely damp cloth and dry at once, and keep the metal to a dry soft cloth.
