Description

This lighting accessory is a length of our Bow wall system: a slim line in a Matt Black finish, 305cm long, with two fixing boxes. Between the boxes the line sweeps away in a soft, open curve, so a plain wall gains a drawn shape rather than another fitting with a shade. The line is 3.5cm in section, which keeps it fine against plaster or brick, and each fixing box is 7.5cm deep. The matt black finish reads as a crisp dark stroke on a pale wall and as a quieter one on a darker wall.

Bow is for indoors and for dry rooms. It is rated IP20, so we would choose it for a hallway, a landing, a living room, a bedroom or a study. Its 305cm length suits a long wall: run it along the top of a wall, let it frame a wide doorway, or set it upright as a tall line beside shelving or at the end of a corridor. It works just as well behind a sofa, where a dark line gives the wall a focus without crowding the room. The curve is the point of it, so it is worth deciding where you want that curve to fall before any work begins.

The matt black covers the line and both fixing boxes alike, so nothing shiny catches the eye. Bow runs at 24V DC and is a Class III fitting.
