Description

The Borba is a Super King duvet cover, 260 by 220cm, woven from a blend of hemp and organic cotton. It carries a soft espresso stripe that acts as a gentle neutral in a bedroom rather than as a colour in its own right. The blend breathes, and the feel of it is relaxed rather than crisp. It is packaged in a fabric bag.

At 260 by 220cm this is the Super King, the largest of three sizes: the same cover is made in a King at 225 by 220cm and a Double at 200 by 200cm, all in the same espresso stripe. It weighs 3.5kg, and that weight is in the fabric rather than in any filling, because the duvet itself is separate. Matching housewife pillowcases are made in the same fabric and sold in pairs.

The blend is hemp with organic cotton. Hemp needs no chemicals to grow and is biodegradable, and it has a soft, buttery texture that only improves with time; the cotton is organic, grown without synthetic pesticides or GMOs. The bag the cover arrives in is worth keeping, to store it out of season or to use as a garment bag. A duvet is not included.
