Description

The Bora is a 150mm square outdoor wall light with a rust brown powder-coated aluminium body and a frosted white polycarbonate diffuser. An integrated 9.6W LED sits behind the diffuser, producing 720 lumens of 3000K warm white light in a 347° beam angle that creates a soft halo effect around the fitting's perimeter.

Designed for exterior walls on porches, pathways, garden rooms and patio areas, the Bora carries an IP54 rating for protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction. The slim 50mm projection from the wall means it sits close to the surface without protruding into walkways, making it suitable for narrow passages and areas where clearance is limited. The rust brown finish pairs with terracotta, brick, stone cladding and timber facades.

The frosted diffuser softens the LED output and prevents glare when viewed directly, making the Bora suitable for positions at eye level such as either side of a front door or along a garden path. The 720-lumen output provides functional light without overwhelming smaller outdoor spaces. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V mains supply.

The 347° beam angle throws light almost all the way round the square body, giving an even wash across the mounting surface rather than a single directed spot, which helps mark a wall or pier without leaving dark edges. The IP54 rating means the sealed unit copes with dust and water spray from any direction, and the 720 lumen output at 3000K gives a warm functional light. The 3 Year warranty covers the integrated LED and its housing.

What does the IP54 rating mean?

IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water spray from any direction. It can handle rain, garden hose spray and outdoor conditions year-round, but should not be submerged or subjected to high-pressure jets.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use. If the LED fails within the warranty period, the entire fitting is replaced rather than the LED module alone.

How is it wired?

The Bora requires a mains 220-240V supply run to the wall position. It connects via standard live, neutral and earth wiring through the rear of the fitting. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with UK wiring regulations.

Is it suitable for coastal locations?

The rust brown powder-coated aluminium finish provides corrosion resistance, but coastal environments with salt spray can accelerate wear on any outdoor fitting. Regular cleaning and inspection are recommended in seaside locations.
