Description

The Bora is a 150mm round outdoor wall light with an integrated 9.6W LED housed behind a frosted white diffuser, mounted on a white circular backplate. The LED produces 720 lumens at 3000K warm white and the frosted lens creates a halo glow around the fitting's perimeter as well as direct forward light. The compact 50mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the surface.

Designed for patios, entrance porches, covered walkways and garage side walls, the Bora suits locations needing functional outdoor lighting with a clean contemporary appearance. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed positions under eaves or porch overhangs where direct rain is unlikely. The 348° beam angle distributes light across a wide area rather than creating a focused spotlight.

The white powder-coated metal body and frosted acrylic diffuser give the fitting a monochrome finish that pairs with white render, painted brick, grey cladding and timber facades. At 0.62kg the fitting mounts directly onto exterior masonry or timber with two fixing points concealed behind the backplate. The non-dimmable LED runs on 220-240V mains with no external driver required.

Can the Bora be used in fully exposed rain conditions?

The IP54 rating protects against water splashing from any direction but not against sustained direct rain or water jets. The fitting suits covered porches, under-eave positions, and sheltered patios. For fully exposed coastal or open-wall locations an IP65 fitting would be more appropriate.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and designed to last the lifetime of the product. The 3-year warranty covers the LED module against failure.

What surface does it mount to?

The Bora mounts directly onto exterior masonry, brick, render, timber cladding or any solid wall surface using two concealed fixing points behind the backplate. The 0.62kg weight does not require heavy-duty fixings on most surfaces.

How is the fitting cleaned?

Wipe the white powder-coated surface and frosted diffuser with a damp microfibre cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents or high-pressure water on the diffuser or body. Switch off mains power before cleaning.
