Description

This is a small round wall light from our Blink range: a ribbed glass disc in jade, a deep, glassy green. Fine vertical ribs run down the face of the disc and a slim rim frames its edge, so the glass has texture whether the light is on or off. It is made from iron and blown glass, measures 13.2cm across and stands 8.2cm out from the wall, a compact size that sits neatly where a larger fitting would crowd the space. It takes one GX53 lamp and runs on a 220-240V mains supply.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, and dry rooms give it plenty of work. A pair either side of a bed frames it neatly; a row along a hallway or up a landing adds rhythm to a plain wall; a single one beside a dressing table or above a sideboard brings a touch of colour. Its modern lines and green glass suit a contemporary scheme, and the jade tone also sits happily with warm woods, brass details and walls painted in deeper shades. The shallow 8.2cm projection keeps it out of the way in narrower spaces where people pass close by.
