Blank Grid Module - Polished Chrome

The Knightsbridge blank grid module is a polished chrome faceplate designed to fill unused positions in the Grid modular wiring system. The module measures 24.8mm wide by 56.3mm high and clips into position from the front of any Knightsbridge Grid mounting frame (sold separately), covering the aperture where no switch, socket or other functional module is needed.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where the Grid system is used to build custom switch and socket configurations, the blank module maintains a consistent appearance across the wall plate when not all positions are in use. The clip-fit design means the blank can be removed and replaced with a functional module later if requirements change, without re-wiring the mounting frame or back box.

The polished chrome finish matches other modules in the Knightsbridge Grid range, providing a reflective metallic surface that pairs well with modern and contemporary interiors. The module is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel backing plate, rated IP20 for standard indoor use, and carries a 25-year warranty. The 25mm minimum back box depth requirement matches the rest of the Grid system.

What is the Knightsbridge Grid system?

The Grid system is a modular wiring accessory range where individual switch, socket, dimmer and blank modules clip into separate mounting frames. This allows custom configurations to be built—such as a 2-gang frame with one switch and one blank, or a 4-gang frame with two switches, one socket and one blank—without needing pre-configured multi-gang plates.

Can the blank module be removed and replaced later?

Yes. The module clips into the mounting frame from the front and can be unclipped and replaced with a functional module (switch, socket, dimmer) if your requirements change. The mounting frame and back box wiring remain in place.
