Description

The BT14B is a black polycarbonate eyelid bezel designed as a glare-reduction accessory for Knightsbridge's BT14 series 14W LED bulkheads. The bezel clips onto the front of the bulkhead fitting and extends 45mm forward, shielding the light source from direct view when approached from the side and directing the light output downward or forward depending on mounting position.

Designed for wall-mounted bulkheads in commercial corridors, external pathways, residential entrance porches and car parks where the bulkhead sits at or near eye level, the eyelid reduces glare for anyone walking past the fitting. The 315mm diameter matches the BT14 bulkhead body diameter, maintaining a flush appearance when fitted. The bezel is compatible with all BT14 variants regardless of finish (white, black, chrome) or function (emergency, sensor, CCT-adjustable, corridor-function models).

The polycarbonate construction matches the bulkhead body material, providing the same UV-resistant and impact-resistant properties. The black finish creates a defined shadow line around the light aperture and pairs well with black or dark-grey bulkhead finishes. Fitting takes under a minute without tools — the bezel clips directly onto the bulkhead rim and can be removed for cleaning or repositioning.

The BT14B bezel fits all Knightsbridge BT14 14W LED bulkhead variants, including white, black and chrome finishes, and all functional variants (emergency, sensor, CCT-adjustable, corridor-function). It does not fit other Knightsbridge bulkhead series.

How is the bezel fitted?

The bezel clips directly onto the bulkhead rim without tools or additional fixings. It can be removed and refitted as needed for cleaning or repositioning.

Does it reduce light output?

The bezel directs light forward or downward depending on mounting position and shields the light source from side angles, but it does not reduce the total lumen output of the bulkhead. The effect is directional control rather than output reduction.

Can it be used outdoors?

Yes. The polycarbonate construction is UV-resistant and designed for outdoor use, matching the material used in the BT14 outdoor bulkhead range. The bezel does not affect the IP rating of the bulkhead itself.
