Description

The Bisel is a modern cylinder wall light in matt terracotta, made from iron and glass. A clear fluted glass cylinder sits in a curved sleeve that wraps around most of its length and opens at the front in a soft, petal-like curve. The sleeve stands out from the wall on a round wall plate, so the fitting reads as a small sculpted piece even when it is switched off. It is 21cm tall and projects 9.5cm from the wall, with a glass shade 6.4cm across, which keeps it slim enough for narrow walls. It takes one G9 lamp, and we recommend a G9 LED.

Its narrow shape makes it a good choice where floor and table space is short. A pair either side of a bed gives each side its own light while leaving the bedside tables clear, and a run of them along a hallway, landing or stairway wall lights the way without crowding it. It also works in a living room or dining room, either side of a fireplace, a sideboard or a doorway. The warm, earthy colour sits happily in modern schemes alongside natural wood, linen and soft plaster tones.
