Description

Bisel is a modern wall light built around a slim cylinder of clear ribbed glass. A curved iron sleeve in matt black wraps the lower part of the glass and rises to a soft curve at its top edge, so the ribbed tube shows above it and along one side. The sleeve sits on a neat round backplate. The whole fitting is 21cm tall and projects 9.5cm from the wall, with a 6.4cm glass shade, so it stays compact on a narrow wall or beside a bed. It has one G9 lamp holder, and the maker recommends a G9 LED lamp, so that is the cap to look for when you choose a bulb.

Rated IP20, Bisel is for dry rooms only, and that still leaves plenty of places for it: either side of a bed in place of table lamps, along a hallway or landing, or either side of a fireplace in a living room. Its slim profile suits walls where a deeper fitting would be in the way, and a pair looks right framing a headboard or a doorway.
