Description

The Bisel is a slim cylinder pendant light in matt white, made from iron and glass and hung on a textile cable. Its matt white upper section has a narrow slot cut up from its lower edge, opening onto a fluted glass section beneath, so the whole fitting reads as one clean cylindrical column. It comes in two sizes, Small and Medium. The Small has a shade 16cm tall and 6.4cm across, and the Medium has a shade 21cm tall and the same 6.4cm across. Both sizes hang from an 8cm canopy on a 1.5m cable. Each size has one G9 lamp holder, and a G9 LED is the recommended lamp.

Because it is so narrow, the Bisel fits where a wide shade would crowd the space. The Small works well hung low beside a bed in place of a bedside lamp, over a bar counter, or grouped with others at staggered heights. The Medium has a little more presence, so it can hang on its own over a side table or reading chair, or in a row above a dining table. Its modern, pared-back shape suits contemporary interiors and simpler traditional rooms alike. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms.

The Bisel is made from iron and glass, finished in matt white and wired with a textile cable. It runs on 220-240V mains and carries a 3 year guarantee. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. For styling, the matt white sits easily against pale walls and natural wood, and the fluted glass catches the light below the solid upper section. A mixed group of Small and Medium pendants hung at different drops over a table makes a neat line of slim columns.
