Description

This is a slim cylindrical pendant light in a gold finish, made from iron, glass and a textile cable. A gold metal sleeve wraps the top of the cylinder. It is open at the front in a narrow slot that lets a line of light through, and beneath it a ribbed section of clear glass glows and softens the light. It takes one G9 lamp holder, and the recommended lamp is a G9 LED. It comes in two sizes, Small and Medium. The Small has a shade 16cm tall and 6.4cm across, and the Medium has a shade 21cm tall and the same 6.4cm across. Both hang from an 8cm canopy on a 1.5m cable.

Rated IP20, this pendant is for dry rooms only, which suits it to bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and hallways. The Small works well hung low beside a bed in place of a bedside lamp, or in a row over a breakfast bar, where its narrow profile keeps sightlines clear. The Medium, with its taller 21cm shade, has the presence to hang on its own over a side table or reading chair, or in a group of two or three over a dining table. Both sizes suit a modern scheme and mix happily, so a cluster of Small and Medium pendants at staggered heights gives a relaxed, layered look.

The gold finished metal sleeve and the ribbed glass make a simple pairing of warm metal above and clear glass below.
