Birdy Stoneware Egg Cups Set of 4 - Multi

Our Birdy egg cups are a set of four small stoneware birds, each standing on a round foot with its head up, a painted beak and eye, and a tail raised at the back. The cup is the open hollow along the bird's back, where an egg sits upright between head and tail. Each one is 8cm long and 8cm tall, a neat size for a single egg, and every bird wears its own pattern: two are painted in bold checks and two in loose, wavy stripes, each with a contrasting head and foot, so the set reads as cheerfully multicoloured when they stand together.

These belong on the breakfast table first: soft-boiled eggs and toast soldiers on a slow Saturday, a brunch spread for friends, or Easter morning, when the table deserves something festive. Because the four birds carry different patterns, everyone can claim their own, which settles the usual question of whose egg is whose.
