Description

The BIMU S150 Ele is a linear LED pendant light: a slim bar 150cm long and just 2cm in diameter, hung from two fine cables so it reads as a single line of light across the room. It is 20cm tall, with a drop of up to 230cm, so you can set it low over a table or keep it high under a tall ceiling. The light is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 22.5W and gives 2518.5lm at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so food, skin and fabrics keep their true colour. We sell it in Black, Black & Orange or White.

Its long, narrow shape suits a dining room, where 150cm runs neatly along the length of a big table and the warm light is kind at supper. In a living room it works over a sideboard, a long sofa or a reading corner, lighting the space without a bulky shade in the way. The integrated LED is not dimmable, so put it on a standard switch rather than a dimmer, and pair it with lamps where you want a softer evening light. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The BIMU S150 Ele was designed by Carrasquet as one slim bar with its light running along its length. Choose Black for a crisp dark line, White to let it fade into a pale ceiling, or Black & Orange for a touch of colour. It runs at 24V DC and is wired in to the mains, a Class I fitting for a qualified electrician to install. Before you order, measure the drop you want and check the 150cm length against your table or room, so it hangs exactly where you need it. Our photographs show the white version.
