Description

The Bianca is an 880mm curved LED pendant light with a crackled acrylic diffuser suspended on two cables from a white metal canopy. An integrated 50W LED array inside the acrylic panel produces 3000 lumens at 3000K warm white, with the crackled finish breaking up the light into soft, even distribution across the panel's 880mm length.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and large workspaces, the Bianca provides bright functional lighting without glare. The 880mm length covers a typical 1.6-1.8m island or a 1.8-2.2m dining table when hung 700-900mm above the surface. The drop is adjustable from 155mm to 1500mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set higher for circulation spaces or lower for task lighting over specific work areas. The white metal frame and canopy suit contemporary kitchens, minimalist interiors and commercial reception areas.

The crackled finish in the acrylic is a surface treatment that creates fine texture across the panel, visible when the light is on and giving the diffuser depth rather than appearing as a flat white plane. The 120° beam angle means light spreads wide from both the top and underside of the curved form. At 2.83kg the fitting has enough weight to hang stably on the two suspension cables without swaying under air movement. The LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard UK 230V mains.

Is the Bianca dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 50W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The 3000 lumen output is designed for task and general lighting rather than ambient or mood lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 155mm to 1500mm. For a kitchen island or dining table, the pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the fitting if the cables are shortened during installation.

What size island or table does it suit?

The 880mm length covers a typical kitchen island of 1.6-1.8m or a dining table of 1.8-2.2m when centred. For larger islands or tables, two Bianca fittings can be installed in series along the length.

How is the crackled finish cleaned?

The acrylic diffuser can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth when the light is switched off and cool. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth with plain water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the panel and do not use spray cleaners or abrasive materials on the acrylic.
