Description

This is a round stoneware storage jar made for the Christmas season, with a cream body and a glossy lid crowned by a ball-shaped knob. Around the side runs a band of sketch-style drawings: a gift tied with a bow, a pretzel, a drum and a curled horn, the sort of motifs you might find on an old-fashioned biscuit tin. It is 23cm across and 11cm tall, and it holds 2400ml, so it is a wide, low jar rather than a tall canister, with plenty of room for a generous batch of home baking.
