Description

The Berry W is a slim LED wall light: a single upright stem, 3cm across, rising from a small rectangular wall plate, with a round dome head at its foot that holds the light. It stands 28.5cm tall, with a stem depth of 9cm and a projection of 11.5cm from the wall; the head is 8cm across and 5cm high. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 4.5W and gives 546 lumens of warm white light at 2700K, with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look natural under it. We offer it in four finishes: Black, White, Beige or Bronze.

Its compact size makes it a natural choice beside a bed, where you want a light to read by without a lamp taking up room on the bedside table. It works just as well in a living room, either side of a sofa or a fireplace, and in a dining room, where a pair on the wall gives a warm glow at eye level around the table. It carries no IP rating, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. It is not dimmable, so plan it for plain on and off switching rather than a dimmer.

The Berry W is a design by Stone Designs, made of three simple parts: the round stem, the wall plate and the dome head, each in the same finish. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. With the LED built in, there is no bulb to buy now or later, and nothing else to order before it gives light. As a practical note, choose your finish with the wall in mind: Black and Bronze read as a strong line on light walls, while White and Beige almost disappear into them, leaving just the glow. Our photographs show the beige version.
