Description

We stock the Bergamo as a white fabric drum pendant with a matt black metal canopy and suspension rod. The double-layered cylindrical shade is around 500mm in diameter, and each of the five E27 lamp holders sits inside the drum, so the fabric spreads a soft, even light in every direction while the pale inner surface keeps the output bright.

We think it works well over a dining or kitchen table, or in a living room or bedroom where you want gentle ambient light rather than a hard beam. For a table, hang it so the shade sits roughly 700 to 900mm above the surface; in an open-plan room, 1.8 to 2m off the floor gives good clearance. The black and white pairing suits both contemporary and more traditional rooms, and gives a neutral scheme some visual weight without adding strong colour.

The matt black canopy fits a standard UK ceiling rose and the rod hides the cable run cleanly. The fabric is stretched over a metal frame that holds the drum shape without sagging. Each holder takes any standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature to suit the room. It runs on 220 to 240V mains, is rated IP20 for indoor use, and is not dimmable.
